Software Engineer - Sustainability Solutions

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer on a contract basis to help build internal tooling that supports our sustainability and supply-chain transparency initiatives. You will work closely with our trading desk and operations team to translate domain requirements into reliable software.

Key Responsibilities

• Internal Tooling: Build and maintain dashboards that visualize shipment quality, logistics performance, and emissions data.
• Data Pipelines: Design ingestion pipelines that consolidate mine reports, rail manifests, and vessel telemetry.
• Reporting: Implement compliance and sustainability reporting features.

The Right Candidate Will Have

• Strong fundamentals in modern web development (TypeScript, React, Node.js).
• Comfort with data: Experience working with relational databases and ETL pipelines.
• Pragmatic mindset: Willing to ship simple, reliable solutions over architectural perfection.

Contract Details

Initial 6-month engagement, extendable based on outcomes. Remote-friendly with periodic visits to Dubai.
